Individual Therapy
Individuals enter therapy for a wide variety of reasons. Therapy is a collaborative and safe space to gain greater insight into yourself, your relationships and your own decision making process. Exploration of your thoughts and feelings allows you to assess where you are in your life, how you got here and how to build a life that better serves you. It is a nurturing investment in yourself. I recommend meeting weekly until you feel better. Therapy is offered both in-person or via a HIPPA compliant telehealth platform within the state of Florida. I see ages 14 and up.

EMDR
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a type of therapy that’s meant to help clients process trauma. It’s different from talk therapy because it also uses external stimulation, such as sounds, visual movements and cues that engage all five senses. Traumatic experiences are usually stored in our brains and bodies because they have not been adequately processed. This can cause severe emotional distress, affect our physical health, and influence how we view the world and ourselves. EMDR can help rewire how these memories are stored in the brain so that there is a decrease and elimination of symptoms associated with trauma. A consultation will be required to determine if a client is a good candidate for EMDR.
